This book had none of the information I was hoping for on the critical issue of waterproofing methods around windows etc. My bad for not noticing the publication date. No fault to the authors, but this book was written 15 YEARS ago, and there have been many new products developed for use with ICF since that time. Any ICF supplier can supply details found in this book. The energy savings from ICF and their usage to make net zero homes or near zero homes and structurally superior homes in high wind zones are becoming well known. We need a compilation of the best way to market these superior structures and completely eliminate the antiquated stick built home. Save your money and look for something more recent or search online or with suppliers.
Way out of date not anything like I expected. Oh well, one stinker our of 10's not bad.
...I was pleasantly surprised that it was an informative text that addressed important points in construction with Interlocking Concrete Forms. While geared towards construction and engineering veiw points, it does answer many questions understandable for a do-it-your-selfer. Very informative and recommended.
